Dumai, December 6, 2024 – In an atmosphere full of joy and hope, Wilmar Group Unit Dumai-Pelintung Christians held a Christmas Celebration at HKBP Immanuel Church, Jl. Pulau Mampu No. 09. With the theme “Let Us Now Go to Bethlehem” (Cf. Luke 2:15) and the sub-theme “With this Christmas celebration, all Wilmar Group Unit Dumai-Pelintung Christians will grow and have hope in Christ in work, family, and social environment”, this event is expected to be a meaningful moment for all employees and families.
The event was attended by employees from various Wilmar units, including PT Kawasan Industri Dumai, PT Bahari Pelabuhan Indonesia, PT Antar Benua Sejati, PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, PT Wilmar Bioenergi Indonesia, PT Murini Sam Sam, PT Sentana Adidaya Pratama, PT Petro Andalan Nusantara, and PT Wilmar Chemical Indonesia. The UMKRIS Wilmar Christmas celebration was chaired by Herlina Ginting, and attended by several invited guests, such as Mr. Maneesh Sharma and Mr. Wandi Lutan, who also celebrated the joy of Christmas with employees and families.
The activity began at 16.00 WIB with a meal together which was attended by Christians from various units in Wilmar Group Dumai-Pelintung.
The highlight of the event began at 18.00 WIB, which was a solemn Christmas service, The event was officially closed at 21.30 WIB, leaving a deep impression for employees and families.
In his speech, the Business Unit Head of Wilmar Group Dumai-Pelintung, Mr. Simon Panjaitan, expressed his gratitude for the implementation of this activity. He said, “This Christmas celebration is a momentum to strengthen togetherness and strengthen faith in Christ. I hope the spirit of love and peace of Christmas can be reflected in our work, family and social environment.”
