12/01/2024 – Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is our effort to create a healthy and safe work environment, so as to reduce the probability of work accidents/illnesses due to negligence which results in demotivation and deficiencies in work productivity.
In Indonesia, January 12 2024 there is the commemoration of National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month. K3 practitioner and initiator of writing the book, Soehatman Ramli, said that one of these figures was Suma’mun Prawira Kusumah, who was nicknamed the Father of Indonesian K3.
Carrying out an opening ceremony to commemorate the 2024 National K3 month of PT Wilmar Unit Dumai-Pelintung which was opened directly by the Dumai-Pelintung Business Unit Head Mr. Rachmadsyah on January 12 2024 in the courtyard of the Central Office-Dumai Industrial Estate. Which was attended by representatives of Wilmar employees and partners.
National K3 month 2024 will be celebrated with various activities including a poster competition, the best TPS, the best P2K3L team, environmental & fire seminars at schools, high risk work competition, first aid competition, fire fighting competition, waste management campaign, blood donation, quizzing, tree planting and even a marathon race which can be participated in by all Wilmar employees and partners.
