Dumai, January 12, 2025 – In order to support the National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) program, Wilmar Unit Dumai – Pelintung officially opened the commemoration of National K3 Month 2025. The opening ceremony took place lively at the Central Office Field of Dumai Industrial Estate, attended by management, employees, and partners of Wilmar Group.
The event began with a morning roll call led by the Business Unit Head of Wilmar Group Dumai – Pelintung, Simon Panjaitan. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of implementing K3 culture as a form of corporate responsibility for the safety of employees, work partners, and the surrounding environment.
“Through this K3 Month activity, I hope that all elements can further strengthen their commitment to work safety and common welfare,” said Simon Panjaitan.
As a symbol of the start of the series of activities, the event was officially opened with the ringing of a bell by the Business Unit Head of Wilmar Group Dumai – Pelintung, Simon Panjaitan. The resounding sound of the bell signaled the beginning of a series of programs aimed at increasing awareness and implementation of OHS in the work environment.
A solemn moment was felt when all participants sang the national anthem Indonesia Raya. The song was accompanied by the strains of violins and guitars, creating an atmosphere that stirred the heart and awakened the national spirit. This musical collaboration gave a different color and further emphasized Wilmar Group’s commitment in maintaining the values of togetherness and professionalism.
Through this activity, Wilmar Unit Dumai – Pelintung is committed to continue strengthening the K3 culture throughout its operational lines, supporting the achievement of national targets in improving occupational safety and health.
