Wilmar Unit Dumai-Pelintung also supported the implementation of the 22nd Medang Kampai Anniversary activities on Sunday (9/06/2024). This anniversary celebration is also a special moment for local residents.
The activity, which was held in the courtyard of the Medang Kampai Subdistrict Office, was also attended by the Mayor of Dumai City, represented by the Regional Secretary of Dumai City H. Indra Gunawan.
Hundreds of people attended to enjoy various kinds of entertainment that had been prepared such as hadroh performances, traditional dances, and singing the song “Seven Princesses” originally created by Medang Kampai District and various other performances. Apart from that, there is also tausiyah from Ustadz Muhammad Arsyad, KH. Rahmat Afifi and Al Habib Ahmad Syakir Al-Habsyi.
Representing the Wilmar Dumai-Pelintung unit, Fahdi Jailani who was present at the activity also congratulated the Head of Medang Kampai Subdistrict Indra Gunawan who was also present at the activity.
“Hopefully there will be more progress, prosperity for the citizens and of course achievements,” said Fahdi Jailani.
Subdistrict Head Indra Gunawan, in his speech, emphasized the importance of commemorating the 22nd Anniversary as an expression of gratitude for Medang Kampai District. He also hopes that Medang Kampai sub-district can continue to move forward in a better direction by building good communication with all stakeholders in Medang Kampai sub-district.
